                    HISTORY


The Picardie is an old province of France. 

She understood the region of Amiens, the Boulonnais, the Ponthieu, the Sancerre, the Thiérache, are Valois it and the Vermondois, the capital being Amiens. 

In 1185, she is occupied in part by Philippe-Auguste. 

During the war of Hundred Years, she was the free-English rivalry stake, then free-of Burgundy. 

In 1477, after Charles le Téméraire' death, she was united irrevocably to the crown. 

Lasting World War I, she was the theater of battles. 

One can keep the Race in the sea in 1914, the battle of the sum in 1916, the battle of Montdidier in 1918.
